元,亨,利,贞。

九二:见龙在田,利见大人。

Ability emerges and finds recognition.

九三:君子终日乾乾,夕惕若,厉无咎。

Nine Three: The gentleman man works hard all day, stays careful at night; danger comes, but no blame.

Constant effort and self-awareness prevent mistakes.

九四:或跃在渊,无咎。

Nine Four: The dragon may leap up or stay in the deep; no blame.

Standing at the threshold of change and transformation.

九五:飞龙在天,利见大人。

Nine Five: The dragon flies high in the sky; it’s good to meet great people.

上九:亢龙有悔。

Top Nine: The dragon flies too high, there will be regret.
